Align Technologies HQ Lobby

Description:

We were tasked with creating an immersive experience for the lobby of Align Technologies, the folks who make Invisalign clear braces. The project consisted of four screens, an RGB array, and speakers. The four screens included: 1. Welcome Wall, which was a giant screen with motion sensors connected to it. Our applications would track people walking past and the animations would react to them. 2. A transparent LED film wall that acted as interactive wallpaper that wrapped around a room demoing their Itero machine. 3. A 4K screen that would play videos about the Itero machine 4. A touchscreen wall that people could interact with to display presentations or to learn more about Align's offerings.

Challenges and Solutions:

One of the challenges that we faced was that we needed all of our different screens to sync up with what we called 'takeover events,' which as a company we didn't do a ton of. We ended up solving it by creating a custom mode controller for takeovers that ended up being used in other projects for other clients.

Results Achieved:

The result of the project was an amazing installation. Every once in a while I'll be scrolling through social media and I'll see a photo from sales rep, business partner, or new Align employee share a photo in front of the walls.
